Government
Cyprus became an independent nation in 1960 from British rule. Its Independence Day is the 16 of August 1960. Now It uses a republic to govern itself. The national symbol are the Cypriot Mouflon and White Dove. The National Anthem is Ymnos eis tin Eleftherian.
The money mainly used in Cyprus are the euro and Turkish new lira. They grow citrus, barely, vegetables, and grapes, along with many other foods. A few industries are tourism, wood, paper, and metal products.​

Cyprus is over half the size of Connecticut with a area of 9251 sq. km. Cyprus is an island with 648km of coastline. Cyprus has earthquakes and occasionally​ droughts because of the hot dry summers and cool winters.
